Grant negotiation meetings with the Global Fund Country Team for 2015 and 2016 were held with participation of partners from the AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria national programmes, PR, the Global Fund and all sub-recipients (SRs) and all other key stakeholders of the New Funding Model. The 3-day long meetings (at UNOPS office in Yangon from 29 September 2014 to 1 October 2014) provided a platform for the Global Fund together with all partners to engage in interactive discussions to negotiate grants based on work plans and budgets for 2015 and 2016. Most of the proposed activities/budgets were approved by the Global Fund and the remaining areas were requested to be reprogrammed again.
