National target setting, forecasting and quantification of drugs need for 2019 02.06.2018

A workshop on “National target setting, Forecasting and Quantification of drugs need for 2019” was held with participation of all the partners from ATM Programmes – the AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria national programmes, national & international NGOs, World Health Organization (WHO), GHSC-PSM (USAID Global Health Supply Chain Programme) GHSC-PSM, Japanese International Cooperation Agency ( JICA), and Save the Children International (SCI).

The 5-day long workshop (in Nay Pyi Taw from 28 May to 1 June 2018) provided a platform for all key stakeholders to participate in interactive discussion and brainstorming to forecast the drug requirement for 2019 together with the status of drugs under pipeline by the UNOPS PSM team. It also provided an opportunity to finalize the performance frameworks and national targets for 2019, and PSM budgets.
