Workshops for AIDS, TB and Malaria (ATM) National Programmes to prepare for Global Fund Round 9 Phase II were held with participation of partners from ATM National Programmes, UN agencies, PR and other stakeholders. The 10-day long workshop (at Mya Yeik Nyo Hotel from 4-13 June 2012) provided a platform for all key stakeholders to participate in interactive discussions and brainstorming based on the lessons learnt from Phase I of Global Fund Round 9 implementation, and to ensure that Phase II plans were built on priorities and without duplication from other sources of funding. 

These workshops provided an opportunity to share with SRs the Global Fund approved forms and formats. Based on these, brainstorming sessions were held to finalize the performance frameworks (with quarterly targets), Phase II budgets (including estimated budget for procurement) and Attachment B (together with details of forecasting and quantification). After the workshops, consensus was reached on Phase II major activities in line with Technical Strategic Group recommendations.
