A two-day quarterly review meeting (16-17 June 2016) to share and review with all the sub-recipients the status of implementation of the NFM grant in Myanmar (January to May 2016)  was held at UNOPS office in Yangon.

The meeting was participated by Sub-recipients (SRs) of the Global Fund grants under the New Funding Model (NFM), and the Regional Artemisinin-resistance Initiative (RAI) Myanmar and Inter-Country Component (ICC) grants. 

The responsible officers from the ATM national programme also attended the meeting: including Dr Zaw Lin, Deputy Director from the National Malaria Control Programme; Dr Win Myint Thu, Assistant Director from the National AIDS Programme and, Dr Htet Myat Win Maung, Assistant Director from the National TB Programme together with technical partners from the World Health Organization and colleagues from the 3MDG Fund.

The review meeting provided a platform to share and review with partner’s status of implementation of including identifying problems, gathering lessons learnt and discuss to collectively come forward with solutions for improvement on the way forward.
